Punto e virgola

“Alpine stube, a space for inspiration” is an investigation into the typical south-tyrolean housing, with particular attention to the stube, the multi-purpose central room of the house. “Punto e Virgola” is the re-design of a key element of this room, consisting of wooden bars attached to the ceiling. Two iron tubes serve as brackets and sustain a wooden bar, that is used for hanging clothes; a shelf can be put on top. These basic elements can be combined in two different sizes to create a system of shelves.
